After revealing the U.S.’ frequent attacks on Pakistan, Obama addressed citizens in an hour-long video chat on Google+ on Monday.

While this is not surprising to all, it has outraged some including Amnesty International.

Pakistan has claimed that these attacks are illegal and Obama defends them stating that they are aimed to protect U.S. citizens and projects abroad.

The number of civilians killed is being debated. The President reassured in his speech that the number is few.

The Commander in Chief is facing a stiff compromise between military safety and transparency at home. Can he strike a good balance between the two?

On Monday, Google announced their latest venture, fittingly titled “Art Project.”  The “Art Project” consists of virtual tours of 17 art museums from across the globe.

the search-engine company said Web users can now roam museums as they would neighborhoods on Google Street View, and eyeball 1,061 masterpieces.

Each of the museums is also allowing Google to display one piece of artwork at a resolution of 7 billion pixels.

Early reviews of the project have been mixed.  Some critics assert the digital experience can not replicate the real thing.  Lucky for you, you can now decide for yourself.

US Democrazy writes on a vast variety of topics.  Despite popular beliefs, we are not experts on most of these subjects.

How then, you may ask, do we learn about what we are going to write on?

The most obvious choice is just “Google” the question.

When we want just the facts, we look no further than WolframAlpha.  This site is absolutely incredible!

Not only can it give you information on some thing,  such as the day March 7, 2010, WolframAlpha can compare things.  One can search “golden gate vs brooklyn bridge” and the site will provide side by side statistics.

Even cooler, math can be done with these facts (yes, math can be cool).  Type in “(golden gate length)-(Brooklyn bridge length)” and you’ll get their difference in length.

Sometimes facts are not enough.  Sometimes we need a teacher to understand the world’s complex issues.  Well, Academic Earth is just the place for that. Here, small universities, such as Yale, Princeton, and MIT, have videos of of lectures on just about any subject FOR FREE!!!

Another, popular source of information for us is Wikipedia (Note: Wikipedia can be edited by anyone so its articles, much like pretzels,  should be taken with a grain of salt)

If these sites don’t answer our questions we creatively solve the problem (i.e. we just make things up).

So next time you have a question check one of these sites out; it sure beats being wrong.
