This week celebrated the 20th anniversary of the historc fall of the Berlin Wall. Soon afterward political changes came hard and fast in the area. The cartoon above drawn just a few months after the fall of the Wall shows how the Super powers of the day, Russia ( led by Mikhail Gorbachev) and the US (led by George HW Bush) were reacting. This week USDemocrazy is going hysterical historical. Our weekly film festival is featuring an important and quite recent historical event.
November 9th marks the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, a structure that separated East and West Germany and characterized the Iron Curtain for decades until 1989.
