The Choice
We at USDemocrazy believe in the value of education.
We also believe when utilized correctly, the Internet, websites and blogs can be effective tools for learning. We are dedicated to creating a website that both educates and entertains. And we are committed to having fun while doing it!
To fulfill this mission, we have created a variety of cool features for the site:
- a daily updated blog on current events targeted at High school students and the high school student in all of us.
- archived database of stories and posts according to categories and subject matter.
- a growing glossary of terms, a list of prominent vocabulary words defined in the classic USDemocrazy way.
- a comprehensive interactive map of the USA that includes fun and interesting information on the 50 states.
- an animated film “The Choice” created by UMBC students about the issue youth and voting.
- Electoral college, the first of several explanatory graphics on American politics.

Teachers
We hope teachers will find our site engaging and entertaining and will want to share USDemocrazy with their students in the classroom. We plan to build a resource page specifically for teachers with suggestions as to how USDemocrazy can be used as an effective way to engage students.
