Can you guess which one is Zapatero?
At U.S. Democrazy, we’re thankful for the Internet. Why? We can order pizza and play games inconspicuously do our work diligently! And we’re not the only ones who love going online.
These days politicians rely heavily on using the Internet to promote themselves. Presidents, Prime Ministers, Senators all have their own website, using it as a tool to connect with the populace.
Lately, however, some politicians have gotten hacked. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran had his website hacked recently. The hacker wrote a message to God on the website, saying,
“Dear God,
In 2009 you took my favorite singer—Michael Jackson, my favorite actress—Farrah Fawcett, my favorite actor—Patrick Swayze, my favorite voice—Neda. Please, please, don’t forget my favorite politician—Ahmadinejad and my favorite dictator—Khamenei, in the year 2010.
Thank you.”
Ahmadinejad wasn’t the only one having trouble with his website though. Spain’s President Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapetero (who is the president of the European Union for the next six months) had his own hacking issues when his picture was replaced by Rowan Atkinson’s character, Mr. Bean (see above).
And just for fun, we’d thought you’d enjoy this funny clip of our editor Mr. Bean meeting the Queen of England.
