The Democratic Super Majority

We at USDemocrazy can never get anything done.

If worse comes to worse, we shirk our work and blame our editors.

But what happens when the highest officials of our government can’t get anything done, who do they blame?

We know this is just crazy speculation. Nothing getting done…couldn’t possibly happen, right?

But just suppose for a moment that such funky ineptitude was happening… right now… we think in this wild fantasy land might look something like this:

• Multiple wars with no end in sight
• Rising unemployment
• A health-care system in crisis
• Social security on a path to bankruptcy
• Banking and auto industries dangerously close to collapse (despite massive bailouts)
• And political discourse that resembles a food fight.

Thank goodness we don’t have to worry about such problems! No doubt those problems would be on the mend because (as Jon Stewart explains in the video above) the Democrats have a Super Majority in Congress!
