Tea Party

We at USDemocrazy keep hearing a lot lately about Tea Parties in the news.

We picture scenes of polite grandmas sipping tea from their china cups. When we saw pictures in the news of these “Tea Parties” (see below) didn’t see much tea or grandmas.

So, after a little research we discovered these “Tea Parties” are not-so-polite political rallies involving activists unhappy with Obama’s presidency!

Tea Party participants are particularly peeved with what they believe to be wasteful spending on the part of the President and his administration.

With regards to the Tea Party movement one blogger wrote in a recent post

“Last weekend may well have marked the zenith of the national Tea Party movement, as founders and followers rallied in Washington, D.C., to rail not only against pending health care legislation but out-of-control spending.”

Although most Republicans aren’t big fans of Obama, they aren’t all Tea Party activists either.

In fact, many Republicans are working to separate themselves from Tea Party radicals. Tea Party activists claim to be bipartisan…

…No one, including Republicans believe this at all.

So the next time you are invited to a Tea party check the invitation closely make sure to bring a bull horn.
